Cameron Young is a professional golfer who has achieved success on the PGA Tour, including a major championship runner-up finish and the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year award. After turning professional in 2019, Cameron Young rapidly ascended the professional golf ranks, showcasing his exceptional talent. His professional breakthrough came in 2020, Monday qualifying for the Korn Ferry Tour’s Pinnacle Bank Championship, which led to special temporary membership. In May 2021, Young secured back-to-back victories on the Korn Ferry Tour, winning the AdventHealth Championship and the Evans Scholars Invitational.

In 2024, he delivered a memorable performance at the Travelers Championship, where he shot a scorching 59 in the third round, marking only the 13th sub-60 round in PGA Tour history. Cameron Young solidified his position among golf’s elite in August 2025, when he achieved his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship. He tied the tournament record with an impressive 22-under 258, a win that notably made him the 1,000th player to secure a recognized PGA Tour event victory. Beyond the course, Young has expanded his reach, appearing in the acclaimed sports documentary series ‘Full Swing’ on Netflix, further enhancing his profile.
