Brian Eric Harman was born on January 19, 1987, in Savannah, Georgia. He developed his golf skills early, becoming a three-time 2nd Team All-American at the University of Georgia and winning significant amateur titles like the 2003 U.S. Junior Amateur and the 2005 Players Amateur.
