Camilla Sacre-Dallerup

Camilla Sacre-Dallerup, born on April 6, 1974, in Aalborg, Denmark, began her dance career at the early age of two and a half. Her dedication led her to win the Danish Junior Championships at 12. She later moved to London, United Kingdom, where she continued her training and competitive dancing. Dallerup competed professionally with Brendan Cole, achieving third place in Latin American at the UK Closed Championships and placing in the top 12 of world professionals at the Open British Championships in 2003. From 2004, she partnered with Ian Waite, reaching second place in Latin American at the 2005 UK Closed Championships and the semi-final of the International Championships at the Royal Albert Hall in 2004. In 2007, Dallerup and Cole represented the UK in the inaugural Eurovision Dance Contest.

Dallerup gained wider recognition through her appearances on the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” as a professional dancer for six series from 2004 to 2008. Her most notable achievement on the show was winning the sixth series in 2008 with actor Tom Chambers. Following her departure from “Strictly Come Dancing,” Dallerup announced in 2009 that she would not be returning to the series as a competitor. She did, however, participate in the 2009 “Strictly Come Dancing” Live UK tour and served as a judge for the 2015 tour, where she recreated her winning dance with Chambers. She also appeared on other television programs such as CBBC’s “Dance Factory” (2005), “The Underdog Show” (2008), and “Skate Nation” (2009) as a judge. In 2009, she was a contestant on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”, though she withdrew due to exhaustion. Dallerup has also been involved in acting, including a role in “Calendar Girls” (2011) and various pantomime productions.

After her professional dancing career, Camilla Sacre-Dallerup transitioned into a career as an author, life coach, and hypnotherapist. She founded her mindful living business, Zenme, and has authored three books: “Strictly Inspirational” (2015), a self-help book and autobiography, and “Reinvent ME.” She specializes in subconscious work through hypnosis and meditation, focusing on areas such as mindset, subconscious mind, and support for highly sensitive people (HSP). Her work now involves supporting individuals and corporations through her coaching company, both in Los Angeles and online worldwide, and she continues to speak on motivational topics. Currently, she serves as the head judge on the New Zealand version of “Dancing With The Stars” since its seventh season in 2018.
