Carolina Ravassa

Carolina Ravassa, born on June 15, 1985, in Cali, Colombia, is an actress, director, and producer. She spent her childhood between Colombia and the United States, which contributed to her fluency in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and conversational Italian. Early in her career, Ravassa pursued formal education in the performing arts, earning a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Boston College and training at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Her educational background also includes studies in Spain and Italy, and she was influenced by the Theatre of the Oppressed with Augusto Boal in Brazil, which focuses on socio-political change through dramatic arts. This comprehensive training provided a strong foundation for her diverse career in entertainment.

Ravassa has established a significant presence in voice acting, with notable roles including Sombra in Overwatch, Raze in Valorant, Taliana Martinez in Grand Theft Auto V, and Zyanya in Onyx Equinox. Her work extends beyond video games to animated television series such as Maya and the Three, Ridley Jones, The Loud House, Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, The Casagrandes, and Victor and Valentino. Upcoming projects include Disney’s Hamster & Gretel, where she voices Carolina Grant-Gomez. In live-action television, she has appeared in The Affair opposite Dominic West and Mr. Robot with Bobby Cannavale and Rami Malek, in addition to short films with Reggie Watts.

Beyond her acting endeavors, Ravassa is also a producer and director. She produced, directed, and starred in the Imagen Award-winning web series Hispanglosaxon, which explores her experiences as a white Latina in New York. This project received a Best Web Series Imagen Award. She also received a BTVA Video Game Voice Acting Award for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game for her role as Sombra in Overwatch. Her producing credits also include Morgan’s Mask (2023) and Backwards Faces (2022). Outside of her professional commitments, Ravassa engages in salsa dancing.
