Cat Simmons, an English actress born in Blackburn, Lancashire, has established a diverse career across television, film, and theatre. After establishing her early stage career in productions such as Joyce in the Young Vic’s ‘Simply Heavenly’ and as the Princess in ‘Aladdin’ at the Old Vic Theatre, where she performed alongside Ian McKellen, Cat Simmons gained significant recognition for her role as DC Kezia Walker in the long-running ITV drama ‘The Bill.’ She starred in 98 episodes of the series between 2006 and 2009. Prior to this, Simmons also portrayed Scarlett Anderson in ‘Family Affairs’ in 2005 and appeared in series like ‘No Angels’ and ‘Casualty.’ Her film credits include the 2006 feature ‘Life and Lyrics,’ where she played Sista Twista.
