Cecile Ovide

Cecile Ovide is an internationally recognized salsa dancer, instructor, and choreographer, known for her dynamic performances and co-founding SalsAlianza. After co-founding SalsAlianza with Terry Tauliaut in 2007, Cecile Ovide quickly established the group as a leading global salsa ensemble. The duo gained international recognition for their innovative salsa style, which masterfully blends intricate turn patterns with influences from contemporary dance, hip hop, Afro culture, and cha-cha. Ovide honed her foundational artistry through extensive training in classical, urban, modern jazz, and contemporary dance forms, further developing her skills at the Conservatory National de Montpellier, where her interest in Latin dance began to flourish.
