Charlie Kerr

Charlie Kerr is a Canadian actor, musician, and playwright, known for his roles in film and television, and as the frontman of the alternative rock band Hotel Mira. After being recognized by Variety Magazine as ‘A star to watch’ in 2016 following successful runs at film festivals for two of his movies, Charlie Kerr went on to establish himself as a versatile actor, musician, and playwright. That same year, Kerr featured prominently as Jory in the film Lost Solace and as the Rebel Commander in An American Dream: The Education of William Bowman. Expanding his creative footprint, Kerr co-founded the Blood Pact Theatre Company in 2016, which quickly gained critical acclaim for its productions.

Demonstrating his diverse talents further, Kerr has also ventured into production roles, serving as an executive producer for the film Riceboy Sleeps (2022) and contributing as a writer for the short film Family Comes First (2022). Looking ahead, Charlie Kerr is set to continue his multi-faceted career with the upcoming release of Hotel Mira’s Pity Party in 2025. He is also slated to executive produce the film Thanks to the Hard Work of the Elephants, also due in 2025.
