Actress, writer, singer and producer Lauren Frost has been known to fans of all ages since her breakout role in Disney’s Even Stevens. An entertainment industry all-rounder, today she is known as much for her sketch and improv comedy as her many screen roles and writing gigs. She is the co-creator and Executive Producer of Funny Women Fest, and has won Best Scripted Show at the Del Close Awards.
Frost first made a name for herself touring with Barbra Streisand on the singer’s Timeless Tour, dueting with her at stadiums across the world. She later earned acting roles as a teenager, including in the features Virtually Casey and Divorce: The Musical. In 2001, she was cast in the recurring role of Ruby Mendel in hit Disney Channel comedy Even Stevens, alongside Shia LaBeouf, Christy Carlson Romano and Nick Spano, catapulting her to stardom and earning her a legion of fans. In the years since, Frost has played roles in screen productions including The Suspect, Synced, Audition Girl, and in the Even Stevens feature sequel The Even Stevens Movie.
Beyond her acting work, Frost has written dozens of scripts for stage and screen, and has had her work featured in the likes of Funny or Die, College Humor, BuzzFeed and Daily Motion. As a comedian, she has trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade and Second City Hollywood, and has performed at UCB, Chicago Sketch Fest, and the Comedy Central Stage. In recent years, Frost has become increasingly respected in the world of fashion, working as a stylist and collection curator and picking up clients including Apple, Target and Caesars Palace. An advocate for vintage dressing, she has been at the forefront of the sustainable fashion revolution, sharing her message with her tens of thousands of social media followers.
