Lauren Frost

Lauren Frost grew up in Chicago, Illinois, establishing herself as a musical theater performer from a young age. Her early theatrical credits include roles such as Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz,” Annie in “Annie,” and Brigitta in “The Sound of Music.” These early experiences provided a foundation for her diverse career in entertainment. A significant milestone in her career was portraying Young Barbra in Barbra Streisand’s “Timeless” Tour. During this tour, Frost performed duets with Streisand on major stages globally, including the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, and stadiums in Australia. Her performances were also featured on the multi-platinum Colombia Records album and aired on FOX as part of “Timeless: Live in Concert.” These experiences contributed to her recognition as an accomplished vocalist and stage performer.

Following her work with Barbra Streisand, Frost continued to expand her presence in television. She became known to a wider audience through her role as Ruby Mendel in Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens,” where she appeared in 21 episodes from 2001 to 2003. She also starred as Casey in the Disney pilot show “Virtually Casey.” In addition to acting, Frost has extensive experience in comedy, encompassing both writing and performance. She is an alumna of Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, performing in main stage sketch comedy and improvisational shows. Her original comedy shows have been featured at venues such as the Comedy Central Stage, iO West, UCB, and the Chicago Sketch Fest. She was also a winner of Best Scripted Show at the Del Close Awards, a finalist at the LA Scripted Comedy Fest, and a winner at the LA Improv Festival. Furthermore, Frost co-created and executive produced Funny Women Fest, an all-women comedy festival in Los Angeles.

As a vocalist and songwriter, Frost has performed at notable venues including the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, and Heinz Hall. She has lent her voice to commercials and jingles for various brands. Her work in costume and wardrobe departments, notably serving as a wardrobe stylist for “Kidz Bop Kids: Born This Way” in 2011 and wardrobe for “Audition Girl” across multiple episodes, demonstrates her involvement behind the scenes as well. Over the years, Frost has maintained a presence in both acting and creative production, earning a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama): Supporting Young Actress in 2002.
