Charlie Plummer is an American actor known for his roles in independent films and television series, showcasing a range of dramatic performances. After earning significant attention for his starring role as Jack in King Jack (2015), which won the Audience Award at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, Charlie Plummer went on to build a compelling career across independent film and television. His professional journey began with appearances in short films such as Frank (2010) and Three Things (2011), demonstrating early talent. Plummer made his feature film debut in David Chase’s Not Fade Away in 2012.

Early television work included a recurring role as Michael Thompson in HBO’s acclaimed series Boardwalk Empire from 2011 to 2013, followed by a main role as Timmy Sanders in the BYUtv drama series Granite Flats from 2013 to 2015, showcasing his early dramatic range. Plummer gained widespread recognition in 2017 with two pivotal film roles. He delivered a powerful performance as John Paul Getty III in Ridley Scott’s crime thriller All the Money in the World and starred as the troubled teenager Charley Thompson in Andrew Haigh’s critically lauded Lean on Pete. That same year, Plummer also appeared in the coming-of-age drama Wildflower, continuing to demonstrate his versatility across genres and complex character portrayals. Most recently, Charlie Plummer starred in National Anthem (2023), which premiered at the SXSW Festival and earned positive critical reception for his performance as Dylan.
