Choir! performed The Beatles’ ‘Here Comes the Sun’ at Nathan Phillips Square for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Campaign, featuring a cancer survivor’s address at the event. Responding to the global landscape, in March 2020, they hosted virtual ‘Social Distan-Sing-Along’ sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic, fostering connection through uplifting songs. Co-founders Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman led a public singalong of The Tragically Hip’s songs at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, showcasing their ongoing cultural impact.
Additionally, the group has announced a Queen-themed Western Canada tour for 2025, further solidifying their unique position in the music landscape by transforming communal singing into a powerful performance art and a platform for social engagement.
