Chosen Jacobs

Chosen Jacobs was born on July 1, 2001, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and later raised in Atlanta, Georgia. His creative journey began at a young age with music, where he developed skills in singing, guitar, and piano. He toured globally as one of the youngest vocalists with the Georgia Choir Boys, performing various genres from opera to R&B. This early exposure to performance quickly transitioned into an interest in acting.

Jacobs’ acting career officially started with commercial work, including one for Hot Wheels. In 2015, he relocated to Hollywood to pursue his burgeoning acting and music career more seriously. His dedication led to his first screen role in 2015 as a reporter for “FTS Kids News” and a starring role in the short film “Remnants” in 2016. A significant turning point arrived when he secured the recurring role of Will Grover in the CBS series “Hawaii Five-0,” appearing in seven episodes between 2016 and 2018.

His international recognition grew significantly with his portrayal of Mike Hanlon in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s “It” (2017) and its sequel “It Chapter Two” (2019). Jacobs continued to expand his filmography with diverse projects such as Netflix’s “Purple Hearts” (2022) and the leading role in Disney’s “Sneakerella” (2021), which earned four Emmy Awards, including “Best TV Movie.” In addition to his acting, Jacobs has continued his music endeavors, releasing his self-produced record “Losers” in 2017 and contributing to the Original Soundtrack for “Sneakerella” in 2021, further showcasing his multifaceted talent across entertainment genres.
