Michelle Marie Pfeiffer was born on April 29, 1958, in Santa Ana, California. After graduating from Fountain Valley High School in 1976 and attending Golden West College, she initially studied to become a court reporter. However, while working as a supermarket checker, she realized her true calling was acting. She gained early recognition by winning the Miss Orange County beauty pageant in 1978 and placing sixth in the Miss California contest the same year. These early experiences provided her with an agent and led to her first auditions for television and film roles. Pfeiffer made her acting debut in 1978 with a one-episode appearance in ‘Fantasy Island,’ followed by minor roles in various television series and films.
Pfeiffer’s career saw a significant turning point with her leading role in ‘Grease 2’ (1982), which, despite being a commercial failure, highlighted her talent.
