Chris Diamantopoulos is a Greek-American actor and voice actor with a stunning array of roles to his name. He has appeared onscreen as, among others, Russ Hanneman in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley and Evan Woodhouse in Prime period drama Good Girls Revolt. As a voice actor, he can be heard as the title character in nearly 100 episodes of Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Master Eon in Skylander’s Academy, a range of voices in American Dad!, and the Green Arrow in a series of Batman Unlimited films. In 2020, he could even be heard as the voice of Mickey Mouse on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, a ride at Disney World, Florida.
Diamantopoulos was born in Ontario, Canada in 1975. A keen actor since the age of 9, by the time he turned 18, he was a full-time actor touring the States with several theatre productions. He also appeared on Broadway, playing parts in the likes of The Full Monty and Les Miserables. He made his screen debut in 2000 and spent the first half of the decade building up his resume with guest roles in the likes of Frasier, Charmed, and Nip/Tuck. As his reputation grew, Diamontopoulos began to play real-life characters in biopics, ranging from Robin Williams to Frank Sinatra to Moe from the Three Stooges.
Despite his screen and voice-acting success, Diamantopoulos has also remained busy in the theatre world, and in 2017, he began appearing in the hugely successful musical Waitress on Broadway. With a career that encompasses so many aspects of drama and acting, Chris Diamantopolous is one of entertainment’s most fascinating talents.
