Chris Jai Alex co-founded Phineqx Entertainment (PE) in the early 2000s, an independent record label that quickly became a notable success in Michigan. Under his leadership with brother Seyque, Phineqx Entertainments first release, ‘PE 2003,’ sold over 4,000 copies, with various mixtapes achieving combined sales of more than 47,000 copies. This entrepreneurial success followed his earlier engagement in music, where he taught himself piano, guitar, and midi production, contributing to groups like Mirage, which gained local recognition and performed alongside artists such as Wanya Morris of Boys II Men. After pursuing music production in New York, working under an ASCAP director and a Def Jam Recordings road manager, Chris Jai Alex transitioned his career focus.
Demonstrating his continuous commitment to skill development, he has also learned multiple languages and actively writes feature-length scripts, positioning himself as a comprehensive talent across acting, voice artistry, stunt performance, and filmmaking.
