Chris Judge is an American actor known for his roles in “Stargate SG-1” and as the voice of Kratos in the “God of War” video game series, bringing extensive experience to projects requiring seasoned talent. After securing the pivotal role of Teal’c in the military science fiction series Stargate SG-1 in 1997, Chris Judge established himself as a prominent actor, appearing in the most episodes among the cast. Judge maintained a consistent presence throughout the series’ run, also contributing as a writer for four episodes: ‘The Warrior’ (2002), ‘The Changeling’ (2003), ‘Birthright’ (2003), and ‘Sacrifices’ (2004). Prior to this breakout role, Judge honed his craft by commencing formal acting training at the Howard Fine Institute in Los Angeles in 1989.
Judge reprised his iconic role as Kratos in the highly anticipated sequel, God of War Ragnarök, released in 2022. His performance in God of War Ragnarök received further critical acclaim, securing him the prestigious Best Performance award at The Game Awards 2022. Additionally, Judge was honored with the British Academy Games Award for Performer in a Leading Role in 2023 and another Outstanding Achievement in Character award for God of War Ragnarök in 2023, solidifying his status as a leading voice actor in the industry.
