Chris Wylde

Chris Wylde is an American actor, writer, and producer known for his extensive work in film, television, and commercials, including roles in major studio productions and popular animated series. After making his big-screen debut in Clint Eastwood’s Space Cowboys in 2000, Chris Wylde went on to establish a prolific career across film, television, and commercials. Wylde previously garnered recognition in the 1990s by hosting his own late-night talk show, which originated on campus television at American University before airing on Comedy Central. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater-Performance from American University in Washington, D.C.

His early career included contributing vocals to Carly Simon’s track ‘Let the River Run’ for the 1988 film Working Girl and appearing in the PBS series Standard Deviants. Wylde has since amassed credits in over 60 films and television shows, including Joe Dirt (2001) and Coyote Ugly (2000). His diverse filmography continued with roles in The Revenant (2009), the high school comedy The DUFF (2015), and the horror-comedy films The Babysitter (2017) and its sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020).

Demonstrating his versatility as a creative force, Wylde conceptualized, wrote, produced, and starred in the web series Dadholes, further showcasing his talents behind and in front of the camera. In addition to his acting and writing endeavors, Wylde launched ClipCast in 2012, which has since become the longest-running Los Angeles Clippers podcast.
