Christine Fan

Christine Fan is an American singer and TV host based in Taiwan, known for her contributions to Mandopop, folk, alternative, and soul music. After launching her career as a singer and songwriter in 1997, Christine Fan released her debut album, ‘FanFan’s World,’ in 2000, establishing herself as a prominent voice in Mandopop, folk, alternative, and soul music. Early in her career, she expanded her presence as a television host, helming the variety show ‘Bang Bang Tang’ on Channel [V] in Taiwan, and starred in various commercial campaigns. This foundational period showcased her versatility across musical genres and media platforms.

Demonstrating her creative depth beyond performing, Fan has penned and composed tracks for notable artists including Claire Kuo, Angela Chang, Freya Lim, and Hey Girl. Her discography continued to expand with ‘F One’ (2009), ‘Love and FanFan’ (2011), and ‘Together’ (2012). In 2015, Fan co-founded a talent agent company with Blackie Chen, where she took on the dual role of mentor and producer for artist Kimberley Chen, further cementing her influence within the industry. Concurrent with her music career, Christine Fan has made several film and television appearances, including roles in ‘Tomorrow’ (2002), ‘The Sour Pack’ (2005), ‘Mysterious Incredible Terminator’ (2008), and ‘The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries’ (2008).

She also served as music supervisor for the documentaries ‘Attitude’ (2008) and ‘Love Life’ (2009), showcasing her expertise behind the scenes. More recently, she appeared in the film ‘The Stolen Years’ (2013) and released her albums ‘Fanfan’s time to give thanks’ (2016) and ‘Solitary Moment’ in 2022, marking her continued contribution to the music landscape.
