Christine Fan

Christine Fan Wei-chi, also known as FanFan, began her career after attending Pomona College and later transferring to Harvard Extension School before pursuing music. She then dropped out of her studies to focus on her musical career. Since 1997, FanFan has been active as a singer and songwriter, releasing her debut album, “FanFan’s World,” in 2000. She has hosted the variety show ‘Bang Bang Tang’ on Channel [V] in Taiwan and has starred in various commercials.

Throughout her career, FanFan has released numerous albums including “The Sun” (2001), “The Sound of Music” (2003), “For Fan – Original Dream” (2004), “One to One” (2005), “Our Anniversary” (2006), “Philosopher” (2007), “Faces of FanFan” (2008), “F One” (2009), “Love and FanFan” (2011), “Together” (2012), “Fanfan’s time to give thanks” (2016), and “Solitary Moment” (2022). She held her first ticketed concert in Taipei in 2008 and later performed in Hong Kong, Taichung, and Beijing, as well as being a special guest at JJ Lin’s concert in Singapore. FanFan has written and composed songs for other artists such as Claire Kuo, Angela Chang, Freya Lim, and Hey Girl.

In 2015, FanFan co-founded a talent agent company with Blackie Chen, taking on the role of mentor and producer for Kimberley Chen. Her film and TV drama appearances include “Tomorrow” (2002), “The Sour Pack” (2005), “Mysterious Incredible Terminator” (2008), and “The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries” (2008). She also served as a music supervisor for the documentaries “Attitude” (2008) and “Love Life” (2009), and appeared in the film “The Stolen Years” (2013).
