Christopher Mintz-Plasse

Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse was born on June 20, 1989, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. He attended El Camino Real High School, where he participated in improvisational comedy. His professional acting career began in 2006, leading to his breakthrough role. Mintz-Plasse quickly established himself in the entertainment industry through his memorable performances, including his debut. His work spans across film, television, and voice acting, contributing to both critical and commercial successes.

Mintz-Plasse gained significant recognition for his role as Fogell, also known as McLovin, in the 2007 film “Superbad.” This performance earned him a nomination for the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. He continued to build his career with diverse roles, including Augie Farques in “Role Models” (2008) and a comedic portrayal of Isaac in “Year One” (2009). Further diversifying his work, he lent his voice to the character of Fishlegs in “How to Train Your Dragon” (2010) and its subsequent sequels and television series. His role as Chris D’Amico/Red Mist in the “Kick-Ass” franchise (2010, 2013) demonstrated his versatility, moving from comedy to more intense character development.
