Emmy-nominated actress, writer, and comedian Desi Lydic first gained significant recognition for her portrayal of guidance counselor Valerie Marks in the MTV comedy-drama series ‘Awkward,’ appearing in 73 episodes from 2011 to 2016. Her versatile talent was also showcased in film productions, including the acclaimed ‘We Bought a Zoo’ (2011), where she shared the screen with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, and the comedy ‘The Babymakers’ (2012) alongside Olivia Munn.
