Christopher Patte

Christopher Patte is a French modern pentathlete who has competed at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships, showcasing consistent performance in individual and team events. After representing France at the XXX Olympic Games in London in 2012, where he finished 17th in the Men’s Individual event, Christopher Patte went on to establish himself as a leading modern pentathlete. His early career demonstrated significant promise, securing a bronze medal in the Men’s Team Relay at the European Youth A Championships in Kalmar, Sweden, in 2008. Patte further distinguished himself by winning a gold medal in the Mixed Team Relay at the Junior European Championships in Drzonkow, Poland, in 2011, showcasing his multi-disciplinary skill across fencing, swimming, equestrian show jumping, and the combined event of pistol shooting and cross-country running.

Patte reached the pinnacle again with a team gold at the 2022 World Modern Pentathlon Championships in Alexandria, complementing a silver medal at the 2022 European Modern Pentathlon Championships, also held in Székesfehérvár. In 2023, Christopher Patte maintained his elite standing in the sport, earning two significant silver medals. He secured a silver medal in the team event at the European Games in Kraków-Ma?opolska, followed by another silver medal at the European Modern Pentathlon Championships, also held in Kraków. Capping off a strong year, Patte achieved 2nd place in the Mixed Relay at the UIPM 2023 Pentathlon World Cup Final in Ankara, Türkiye, underscoring his enduring competitive edge and continued contribution to France’s international presence in modern pentathlon.
