C.J. Stroud has quickly established himself as a prominent quarterback in the National Football League, transitioning from a highly touted college athlete to a key player for the Houston Texans. After a standout collegiate career at Ohio State University, C.J. Stroud transitioned into a prominent quarterback in the National Football League, quickly making a significant impact.

He set an Ohio State school record with 573 passing yards and tied a record with six touchdown passes in the 2022 Rose Bowl. He concluded his collegiate career with 8,123 passing yards and 85 touchdowns, leading to his selection as the second overall pick by the Houston Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft. In his rookie NFL season, Stroud immediately broke several league records, including most passing attempts without an interception to start a career (191) and most passing yards in a single game by a rookie (470). He also tied the NFL record for most passing touchdowns in a single game by a rookie (5).
