Australian opera singer Clarissa Spata is known for her on stage performances in shows such as The Indian Queen, Anything Goes and Les Miserables.
After graduating with a Distinction in Voice from The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Spata went on to win the Opera Foundation Australia’s Lady Fairfax New York Award. This meant she had the opportunity to study in New York with teachers from The Juilliard and The Metropolitan Opera, launching her career as a singer. She went on to be cast in numerous stage productions as a principal role, such as The Gondoliers, The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville, Kiss Me Kate, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel. As well as touring extensively as a cast member of high end productions, Spata is also a member of several performing groups including Encore and The 7 Sopranos who tour around the world and release critically acclaimed albums. She has performed alongside the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and also been the star performer on cruise ships, appearing in Bravo on Princess Cruises seven times.
Spata is also the soprano and creative director of Fusion Vocal Group, who perform private and public concerts across the globe and on cruise liners. This hugely successful and highly sought after singer is now regarded as one of the best mainstream opera singers in the world, and is in constant demand as an international performer.
