Clark Kellogg

Clark Kellogg transitioned from a decorated NBA player to a respected college basketball analyst and community leader. After achieving a record-setting 51-point, 24-rebound game in the 1979 Ohio High School State Championship, Clark Kellogg was named Mr. Basketball USA that same year and played in the McDonald’s All-American and Capital Classic games. He continued to excel at Ohio State University from 1979 to 1982, where he led the team in scoring and rebounding during his sophomore and junior years, earning All-Big Ten Conference, Most Valuable Player, and All-American honors in 1982.

His significant contributions to sports and the community have been recognized through multiple accolades, including the Ohio State University Distinguished Service Alumni Award and induction into the Ohio State University Athletic Hall of Fame, both in 2001, as well as the prestigious Coach Wooden ‘Keys to Life’ Award in 2003. In 2014, Kellogg returned to his role as a studio analyst for CBS Sports, continuing to provide insightful commentary on college basketball. His enduring impact on sports broadcasting will be formally acknowledged in 2025 when he is slated to receive the esteemed Curt Gowdy Electronic Media Award, a testament to his distinguished career spanning decades across collegiate and professional basketball.
