Claudia Ann Coghlan, born on August 10, 1965, in Glendale, California, began her acting journey on stage as a child in Connecticut. Her professional career in television started as a teenager with a role in “Dallas,” a popular series. This marked the beginning of a prolific career that has spanned over 35 years, encompassing dozens of films and hundreds of hours of television. She has worked alongside notable figures such as Morgan Freeman, Michael Keaton, Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Faye Dunaway, and George Clooney. Christian is also a recognized voice actress, lending her talents to numerous video games and animated productions.
Christian became widely recognized for her portrayal of Susan Ivanova in the Hugo and Emmy Award-winning series “Babylon 5,” appearing from 1994 to 1998. Her film credits include “Clean and Sober” (1988), “The Hidden” (1987), “The Chase” (1994) with Charlie Sheen, and “Hexed” (1993). In animation, she voiced Helga in “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” (2001) and Hera in the Netflix series “Blood of Zeus” (2020-2025). She wrote the memoir “Babylon Confidential: A Memoir of Love, Sex, and Addiction” and is the founder and CEO of the C Three Foundation, established in 2013. Through this foundation, and as a TEDx speaker, Christian advocates for The Sinclair Method (TSM), a medication-based treatment for alcohol dependence, producing the award-winning documentary “One Little Pill” in 2014 to raise awareness.
