Drew Seeley

Andrew Michael Edgar Seeley, known professionally as Drew Seeley, began his performance career at the age of 11 in the ensemble of Harold Prince’s Showboat revival in Toronto. After growing up in Toronto, he later moved to Florida. His early career saw him involved with the Walt Disney Company, where he contributed to numerous soundtracks. In 2005, Seeley collaborated with producer Ray Cham to co-write “Get’cha Head in the Game” for the High School Musical soundtrack, a song that earned an Emmy Award nomination for Best Original Music and Lyrics. He famously provided the singing voice for Troy Bolton in the first High School Musical film, and subsequently toured with High School Musical: The Concert across North and South America, performing to large audiences. He further expanded his Disney involvement by appearing on multiple Disney soundtracks and compilation albums, including Disneymania 5 and 6.

Seeley’s acting career developed with roles in various films and television series. He starred in Another Cinderella Story (2008) opposite Selena Gomez, where he also wrote and performed four songs, including the hit “New Classic.” His stage career includes playing Prince Eric in the Broadway production of The Little Mermaid (2009) and later closing Jersey Boys on Broadway as Bob Gaudio. His musical endeavors continued with the release of his albums, ‘The Resolution’ (2011) and ‘DownTime’ (2018). In addition to his acting and singing, Seeley holds writing and producing credits on several projects including music videos and short films. He has continued to appear in television movies, such as Christmas By the Book and Freshmen Father, and series like The Rookie and Shooter. His commitment to mental health advocacy is demonstrated through his active participation in benefit concerts for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

He resides in California with his wife, actress Amy Paffrath, and their daughter Ember.
