Claudio Castagnoli, known in the wrestling world as Cesaro, is a Swiss professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is a member of the Death Riders and holds the title of AEW World Trios Champion. Castagnoli’s career began in the European independent wrestling circuit in 2000, where he quickly made a name for himself by winning numerous championships and forming the acclaimed tag team, Kings of Wrestling, with Chris Hero. Their reign as ROH World Tag Team Champions lasted 364 days, setting a record at the time.
In 2011, Castagnoli signed with WWE, adopting the ring name Antonio Cesaro. He made his main roster debut in 2012 and went on to capture the WWE United States Championship and the inaugural André the Giant Memorial Trophy at WrestleMania XXX. His tag team success continued as he formed alliances with notable wrestlers like Tyson Kidd and Sheamus, collectively known as The Bar, winning multiple tag team championships during their tenure.
After leaving WWE in 2022, Castagnoli made a triumphant return to the ring under his original name in AEW.
