Colin Jost

Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner and nineteen-time nominee Colin Jost established his distinguished career in television writing, joining NBC’s Saturday Night Live in 2005 after contributing to the animated series Kappa Mikey. At SNL, he became writing supervisor from 2009 to 2012, and co-head writer from 2012 to 2015 and again from 2017 to 2022. In March 2014, Jost became a co-anchor for SNL’s iconic ‘Weekend Update,’ breaking Seth Meyers’ record as the segment’s longest-serving anchor in October 2021. His notable impersonations on the show include figures such as Pete Buttigieg, John Kasich, and Roger Goodell.

Looking ahead to 2025, he is slated to host the Amazon Prime Video game show Pop Culture Jeopardy! and will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the College of Staten Island, CUNY, recognizing his profound impact across comedy, television, and community engagement.
