Constantin Schmid was born on November 27, 1999, in Oberaudorf, Germany. He began his professional ski jumping career with WSV Oberaudorf, developing his skills from a young age. Schmid made his World Cup debut in Oberstdorf in December 2016, marking the start of his ascent in the sport.
Throughout his career, Schmid has consistently demonstrated strong performances at various international events. A significant milestone in his early career included achieving a third-place individual World Cup finish in Râșnov in February 2020.
