Dan Mintz

Daniel Alexander Mintz was born on September 25, 1981, in Anchorage, Alaska. He later attended Harvard University, where he contributed to The Harvard Lampoon, a prestigious humor magazine. Mintz began his professional career in comedy and writing, landing his first writing job at Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers.” His early career also included writing for “Last Call with Carson Daly,” “The Andy Milonakis Show,” “Human Giant,” and “Lucky Louie.” These roles established him as a comedic writer and laid the groundwork for his future in both television production and performance.

Mintz gained significant recognition for his role as Tina Belcher in the animated series “Bob’s Burgers,” a character he has voiced since 2011 and continues to portray in the upcoming 2025 season. His work on the show extended to the big screen with “The Bob’s Burgers Movie” in 2022. Beyond voice acting, Mintz has maintained a robust writing career, contributing to notable shows like “Important Things with Demetri Martin” (2009–2010), “Nathan for You” (2013–2014), “Mulaney” (2014–2015), and the Emmy-winning HBO series “Veep” (2017–2019) as a consulting producer. He received a WGA Award nomination in 2017 for his script for the “Son of Zorn” episode “A Taste of Zephria.”
