Daniel Hall

Daniel Hall was born in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. He began his career in entertainment from a young age, performing in concerts with his family by the time he was five. Hall pursued his passion for acting by studying theatre at the University of Michigan, where he had the opportunity to share the stage with Ruby Dee in “The Bridge Party.” He further honed his craft during a semester abroad at the Globe Theatre in London, studying under Oscar-winning English actor, director, and playwright Mark Rylance. These early experiences provided a foundational understanding of performance and production, preparing him for a diverse career in the industry.

His acting career spans numerous television series and films. Daniel Hall is notably recognized for his roles in “Mad Men” (2007) as Jack, “Quarry” (2016) as Cliff Williams, and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2008) as Darren. A significant period of his career was dedicated to the role of Scott Grainger in the popular CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless” from 2017 to 2018, where he appeared in 117 episodes. Beyond acting, Hall has also built a profile as a producer, with credits including “The Story Behind” (2010), “The Jog” (2011), “It’s As Easy As Riding a Bike” (2012), and “Barry Miller” (2013). He also directed “The Jog” in 2011.

Throughout his career, Hall has engaged in various projects, demonstrating his versatility across different genres and production roles. In 2023, he appeared in “Fantasy Island” as King Yahir and “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” as Weiss Bros #2. He actively participates in charitable causes, particularly The Art of Elysium, an organization that uses artistic expression to inspire hope and empowerment.
