Actor, producer, director, model and writer Daniel Hall is best known for playing Scott Grainger in the popular soap The Young and The Restless. His numerous other television and movie credits including Mad Men, Law & Order: SVU, Guiding Light, Graceland, Mixology, The War Next Door, Quarry and The News Room. Hall is an accomplished voice actor who played Andrew Holifield in the popular Red Dead Redemption video game, and in 2022 he provided the English voice for Gang-Sik in the Kdrama Juvenile Justice.
Growing up with his opera singer father and his mother who is an early childhood music educator, Hall regularly performed with his sister, Emily, and their parents as a singing group, The Hall Family Singers, and seemed more destined for a career singing on the stage than acting. The star excelled at the University of Michigan, where he diverged from music and got more into film and TV with plans to make a living as an actor. He then relocated to New York and began to work in theatre and landed his first notable role on Guiding Light.
After several years in the Big Apple, Hall headed to the West Coast where his acting career took off big time, landing his biggest role so far in the daytime soap The Young and The Restless. In addition to his acting career, Hall has worked on several shorts as a producer, including The Jog and Barry Miller.
