Danny Amendola

Danny Amendola, a prominent wide receiver for 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), is a two-time Super Bowl Champion and an NFL all-purpose yards leader. He notably led the league in all-purpose yards in 2010 with 2,364, an early career highlight following his NFL debut with the St. Louis Rams in 2009. His distinguished collegiate career at Texas Tech saw him accumulate 204 receptions for 2,246 yards and 15 touchdowns, additionally ranking third all-time in school history for punt returns and yardage.

He was pivotal in these championship runs, executing critical plays such as a 51-yard touchdown pass in the 2014 Divisional Round against the Baltimore Ravens, and scoring both a touchdown and a two-point conversion in Super Bowl LI. His exceptional performance also earned him the MVP title for the AFC Championship Game in 2018. Following his tenure with the Patriots, Amendola continued to contribute significantly as a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Houston Texans, before announcing his retirement from professional play in 2022. Transitioning from his celebrated playing career, Amendola continues his engagement with professional football as a coaching assistant and returners coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, a role he began in 2023.
