Danny Pudi

Danny Pudi is an American actor and director, widely recognized for his portrayal of Abed Nadir on the NBC sitcom ‘Community’, as well as his roles in ‘Mythic Quest’ and ‘DuckTales’. After establishing himself as a beloved comedic actor with his breakthrough portrayal of Abed Nadir on the NBC sitcom ‘Community’ (2009-2015), Danny Pudi earned significant industry recognition, including three nominations for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and one nomination for the TCA Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy for the role. Pudi diligently honed his craft after graduating from Marquette University in 2001 with a degree in communication and theatre, where he was notably the inaugural recipient of the Chris Farley Scholarship. He further developed his comedic skills at The Second City Conservatory Program in Chicago, a renowned institution for improv and sketch comedy, and became a member of the Asian American sketch comedy ensemble ‘Stir Friday Night!’.
