James “Arg” Argent

An original cast member on reality TV show The Only Way is Essex, James Argent is known for his larger than life personality.

Argent, also known as ‘Arg’, first appeared on scripted reality show The Only Way is Essex in 2010, appearing in the show as a regular cast member for eight years. He became a fan favourite, and became well known for his on-and-off relationship with Lydia Bright as well as their very public breakup. He has also starred in several other reality and entertainment shows, including Celebrity Super Spa, Sugar Free Farm and The Jump. Argent has been a presenter on Good Morning Britain, anchoring the entertainment segment of the popular morning television show. Outside of TV, he has also starred in several pantomimes including Cinderella in Southsea and Aladdin at the Middleton Arena. He has become well known for his bubbly and friendly personality, great sense of humour and warmhearted nature.

Most recently, Argent has been a participant on Celebrity Coach Trip and a regular cast member on Gemma Collins: Diva Forever. He has also made headlines for his incredible weight loss and body transformation, having spoken out about his journey to fitness and health, and struggles with addiction. Argent is now one of the most well loved television personalities on British TV, and continues to be cast in shows and as an entertainment correspondent.
