Dante Hall

Selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round (153rd overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft, Dante Hall immediately distinguished himself as one of the league’s most electrifying return specialists. Having played college football at Texas A&M University, where he accumulated 4,707 all-purpose yards—ranking second in school history at the time—and earned first-team All-Big 12 in 1996 and second-team All-Big 12 in 1997, Hall brought a dynamic skillset to the professional stage. During his tenure with the Chiefs from 2000, he quickly established his dominance on special teams, scoring his first NFL touchdown in 2002 and earning back-to-back Pro Bowl selections in 2002 and 2003. Hall’s career with the Kansas City Chiefs, from 2000 to 2006, was marked by numerous record-breaking achievements and exceptional playmaking ability, earning him the renowned nicknames ‘the Human Joystick’ and ‘the X-Factor.’ In a landmark 2003 season, he secured an NFL record by returning a kickoff or a punt for a touchdown in four consecutive games.

In recognition of his indelible contributions to the team and the league, Dante Hall was proudly inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Honor in 2023. Beyond the field, Hall has dedicated his time to philanthropic endeavors and mentorship, serving as a mentor for the NFL’s ‘Play It Smart’ program and continuing his affiliation as a Kansas City Chiefs Ambassador.
