DeeJay Dallas first garnered significant national attention after committing to play college football for the Miami Hurricanes in May 2016, following a decorated high school career where he was regarded as one of the top recruits in the class of 2017. During his tenure at the University of Miami from 2017 to 2019, Dallas showcased exceptional adaptability, transitioning from wide receiver to running back in his freshman year to meet team needs. His sophomore season in 2018 proved particularly notable, as he led the team with an impressive 1,260 all-purpose yards, including a highlight punt-return touchdown against Pittsburgh, earning him both the Christopher Plumer Memorial Award for leadership and Special Teams MVP honors. In his junior year, Dallas continued to excel, achieving career highs with 693 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns, while also being recognized with the R.
