Dilan Cicek Deniz

Dilan Cicek Deniz was born on February 28, 1995, in Sivas, Turkey, to parents who were both teachers. Her early life included a significant engagement with the arts; she received three years of theater education during high school and began modeling at a young age. At fifteen, she authored a book of poetry titled ‘Güneşi Annem Sanırdım’ (I thought the Sun was my mother). Her talent for performance was recognized early on, as she won an acting prize at a theater competition at the age of seventeen. She initially enrolled in the Faculty of Tourism at the University of Ege but later changed her major to literature.

Deniz’s career trajectory saw a significant acceleration after participating in the 2014 Elidor Miss Turkey beauty competition, where she secured second place. This achievement led to her representing Turkey at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant held in Miami. Her acting career subsequently flourished, beginning with roles such as ‘Ebru’ in ‘Tatli Küçük Yalancilar’ (2015) and ‘Elif’ in ‘Günesin Kizlari’ (2015). Her performances in these series established her as a developing talent in Turkish television.

A pivotal role in her acting career was ‘Sena Koçovali’ in the series ‘Çukur’ (2016-2021), a role that brought her widespread recognition and critical acclaim. She also starred as ‘Manolya Ünkap (Mona)’ in ‘Kusursuz Kiraci’ (2022) and ‘Rüya Yildirimlar’ in ‘Flames of Fate’ (2020-2021). Her film credits include ‘One-Way to Tomorrow’ (2020) and ‘Don’t Leave’ (2022). Beyond her acting, she has also engaged in modeling and brand endorsements, notably with major international brands, further establishing her versatile career across entertainment and commercial sectors.
