Trevor Devall is an award-winning voice actor who first made his name in Canada before relocating south to Los Angeles where his career has hit new heights. He won the BVTA Television Voice Acting Award for Best Male Lead Vocal Performance in a TV Series for voicing Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, a spinoff series based on the hit film. Devall’s other major roles have included voicing Hot Dog and Waffles the Penguin in Krypto the Superdog and leading parts in the likes of Lego Star Wars and X-Men: Evolution. He has also contributed to the English dubs of a great many Japanese anime series and has voiced characters in video games such as Final Fantasy XV, Dota 2, and Halo 5: Guardians.
Having been active in the theatre from a young age, Devall began to win voice-acting roles in the late 1990s with early roles including providing multiple voices for series such as Silent Mobius and Master Keaton. After over a decade of hard graft, he received his first award nomination in 2012, being in the running for the UBCP Award for Best Voice for his contribution to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The following year, Devall left his native Canada and headed for Los Angeles. Thanks to his outstanding resume, he had no trouble finding work and was soon involved with franchises such as Lego Star Wars and Wolverine, voicing characters in numerous series and films for both. His more recent projects include series such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and The Ghost and Molly McGee.
