Dimitris Giannetos

Dimitris Giannetos began his career in Greece, where he attended beauty school at age 16 and worked for 12 years with major magazines such as Vogue, Bazaar, and Elle. During this period, he also served as an ambassador for L’Oréal Paris. In 2012, at the age of 29, Giannetos made the decision to move to the United States to further his career. This transition presented challenges, including a language barrier, which he overcame through determination and a focus on his craft.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, he met Maria Menounos, a Greek-American television personality, who became an early client. His career progressed rapidly after connecting with his first agent, Charly Shahin of Opus Beauty, who introduced him to numerous industry professionals. Early clients included prominent figures such as Camila Cabello, Joey King, and Britney Spears. Giannetos also joined Guido Palau’s team, participating in fashion weeks in Milan, Paris, and New York, an experience that broadened his creative approach to hairstyling by integrating editorial and fashion trends into celebrity work.

Throughout his career, Giannetos has developed a distinctive method of naming his signature hairstyles and colors, turning them into widely recognized trends like the “Prada bob” and “English toffee highlights.” He has styled hair for a diverse and extensive list of notable individuals, which includes Gigi Hadid, Joey King, Amal and George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Candice Swanepoel, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Eva Longoria, Machine Gun Kelly, the Kardashian sisters (Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim), Jennifer Lopez, Adriana Lima, Dixie D’Amelio, and Demi Moore. He continues to be a highly influential figure in the beauty industry, known for his technical skill, creative vision, and ability to personalize looks for each client.
