Paul Duane Beauregard, better known by his stage name DJ Paul, is an American DJ, record producer, rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a founding member of hip hop group Three 6 Mafia and the brother of the late rapper Lord Infamous. Three 6 Mafia is an American hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee. Emerging as a horror-themed underground rap group, they would go on to enjoy mainstream success. The group’s debut album Mystic Stylez would go on to become an influential cult classic.
DJ Paul has also released a debut solo studio album called Underground Volume 16: For Da Summa, which has also been remastered to include new features such as Frayser Boy and La Chat. Collaborating with Juicy J, and Crunchy Black, DJ Paul won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” from the film Hustle & Flow. The artist has also starred in a number of TV shows including 2007 reality show Adventures in Hollyhood, which showed Three 6 Mafia’s move to Hollywood, California, following their Oscar win. As well as featuring their personal assistants Computer and Big Triece, the show saw features from Hypnotize Minds artists Project Pat and Lil Wyte. DJ Paul is recently working on his Tik Tok career, with music being used by thousands of fans across the global platform.
