Do Hee Noh

Noh Do-hee was born on December 13, 1995, in Ansan, Republic of Korea. She began her short track speed skating career at the age of seven at Tap-dong Ice Rink in Suwon. Her early dedication to the sport led to her representing Hwaseong City Hall in competitions. Noh Do-hee quickly demonstrated her talent, becoming a two-time overall world junior champion. Her consistent performance and commitment to training allowed her to transition into the senior national team, making her debut representing the Republic of Korea during the 2014/15 season.

Throughout her career, Noh Do-hee has consistently competed at the elite level, earning significant medals and recognition. She sustained injuries during her career, including a fractured foot in ninth grade, a back injury during the 2014/15 season which impacted her participation in World Cup events in Salt Lake City and Montreal, and fractured vertebrae in 2017 after a fall at the Korean trials for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Despite these setbacks, she continued to compete, demonstrating resilience. Her philosophy, “Don’t give up and achieve a victory,” has guided her career.

Noh Do-hee’s professional achievements include gold medals at the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in 2015 (Moscow) and 2016 (Seoul) as part of the 3000m relay team. She also secured a gold medal at the 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo in the 3000m relay and at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty in the 3000m relay. Most recently, she finished second in the national team trials for the 2026 Winter Olympics, securing her place in individual events. Her career trajectory illustrates her sustained presence and competitiveness in short track speed skating.
