Dominika Cibulkova

Dominika Cibulkova established her professional tennis career by securing two tournament victories on the ITF Women’s Circuit, first at the Amarante event in Portugal in 2005, and subsequently at the Bratislava event in 2006. Her impactful presence quickly led to her Grand Slam main-draw debut at the 2007 French Open, where she notably advanced to the third round. Building on this momentum, 2008 saw Cibulkova reach her inaugural WTA Tour final at the Amelia Island Championships, a feat she soon repeated at the Rogers Cup, signaling her ascent in the competitive professional circuit with her distinctly aggressive playing style.
