Dominique Jade Tipper, born on June 24, 1988, in Limehouse, East London, embarked on her performing arts journey at an early age, training at the O’Farrell Stage and Theatre School. Her initial career involved commercial dancing for various musical groups and artists, and she also pursued a solo music career, releasing the promotional single ‘Superstar’ and an eponymous EP in 2013. These early experiences in both music and dance laid the foundation for her transition into acting.
Tipper gained recognition in television for her leading role as Naomi Nagata, the engineer in the SyFy/Amazon Prime Video science fiction series “The Expanse,” which ran from 2015 to 2022.
