Sofia Carson has established herself as a versatile talent, recognized for her contributions in acting, music, and philanthropy, impacting global audiences. After her breakthrough role as Evie in Disney’s musical fantasy film Descendants in 2015, Sofia Carson solidified her presence in the franchise, reprising the character in sequels including Descendants 2 (2017) and related animated series. Carson first appeared on Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally in 2014, followed by a recurring role on MTV’s Faking It. Concurrently, she launched her music career, signing a joint worldwide record deal with Hollywood Records and Republic Records in 2016 and releasing her debut solo single, ‘Love Is the Name’ that same year.
