Sofia Carson

Sofia Carson has established herself as a versatile talent, recognized for her contributions in acting, music, and philanthropy, impacting global audiences. After her breakthrough role as Evie in Disney’s musical fantasy film Descendants in 2015, Sofia Carson solidified her presence in the franchise, reprising the character in sequels including Descendants 2 (2017) and related animated series. Carson first appeared on Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally in 2014, followed by a recurring role on MTV’s Faking It. Concurrently, she launched her music career, signing a joint worldwide record deal with Hollywood Records and Republic Records in 2016 and releasing her debut solo single, ‘Love Is the Name’ that same year.

Carson’s acting work quickly expanded beyond Disney, with a leading role in A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits (2016), the fourth installment of the A Cinderella Story series. She appeared in Freeform’s Famous in Love in 2018 and took on a main role as Ava Jalali in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019). Her filmography further expanded with the Netflix dance film Feel the Beat (2020) and the thriller Songbird (2020). In music, she released new material and collaborated with artists such as Alan Walker and R3hab, before debuting her self-titled studio album, Sofia Carson, in 2022.

Since January 2020, Carson has also served as a global brand ambassador for Revlon, launching her own collection and fragrances. She continues her collaboration with Netflix on upcoming projects, including Carry-On (2024), The Life List (2025), and My Oxford Year (2025), solidifying her industry footprint as an actress and executive producer.
