Don Cheadle

Don Cheadle is a highly acclaimed actor, producer, and director, known for his impactful performances across film and television, and recognized for his dedicated humanitarian work. After achieving widespread recognition for his portrayal of Mouse Alexander in the 1995 film Devil in a Blue Dress, Don Cheadle went on to earn Best Supporting Actor awards from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the National Society of Film Critics, and nominations from the Screen Actors Guild and the NAACP Image Awards. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the California Institute of the Arts in 1986, Cheadle began his professional acting career with roles in films like Moving Violations (1985), Hamburger Hill (1987), and Colors (1988). His early television work included appearances on Hill Street Blues (1987), a recurring role on Fame, and Night Court (1988), followed by a starring role in The Golden Palace (1992-1993) and a three-season run as district attorney John Littleton on Picket Fences.

Cheadle’s recent film credits include No Sudden Move (2021) and his role as the antagonist Al-G Rhythm in Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021). He continues to be a prominent fixture on television, starring in Black Monday (2019–2021), narrating The Wonder Years (2021–2023), and appearing in Secret Invasion (2023). Looking ahead, Cheadle is slated for the upcoming TV mini-series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist (2024) and the upcoming Armor Wars. He is also set to make his Broadway debut in 2026 in a revival of David Auburn’s acclaimed play Proof.
