Don Fullilove

Don Fullilove launched his distinguished career in 1971 as a child actor, providing the voice of Michael Jackson in the animated ABC-TV Saturday Morning series ‘Jackson 5ive’, which aired from 1971-1973. This early success continued with his voice roles as Randy in ‘Kid Power’ and Jason Phillips on ‘Emergency +4’, establishing a foundational presence in animated television. A significant milestone in his live-action career arrived in 1985 when he portrayed Mayor Goldie Wilson in the critically acclaimed film ‘Back to the Future’. The iconic role quickly cemented his presence in popular culture, leading to its memorable sequel.

Fullilove reprised his celebrated role as Goldie Wilson, portraying Goldie Wilson III in ‘Back to the Future Part II’ (1989), further expanding his impact within the blockbuster franchise. Concurrently, he maintained a prolific career in voice acting, contributing to a diverse array of animated productions. Notable voice credits include the Disney animated feature ‘Mulan’ (1998), Pixar’s ‘Monsters, Inc.’ (2001), ‘Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron’ (2002), and the Academy Award-winning ‘WALL-E’ (2008). His consistent voice work continued with the Academy Award-winning Disney-Pixar film ‘Up’ (2009), where he voiced the character Nurse George, followed by ‘Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Masters’ (2011), and as Chuck E.

In October 2024, he made a cameo as the elder Wilson’s father in a Broadway performance of ‘Back to the Future: The Musical’, delighting audiences and bridging generations of fans.
