Donnie Yen is acclaimed globally for his extensive career as an actor, martial artist, and action choreographer, with notable roles in the ‘Ip Man’ series and ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’. After making his acclaimed debut in the 1984 film ‘Drunken Tai Chi’, Donnie Yen quickly established himself as a leading figure in Chinese action cinema. He built his filmography with roles in ‘Tiger Cage’ and ‘In the Line of Duty 4’. A pivotal moment arrived with ‘Once Upon a Time in China II’ (1992), where his co-starring role with Jet Li earned him his first Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
