Proudly combining brains and brawn, Milena Roucka is a Canadian model and now retired professional wrestler who is best known for her time fighting in the iconic global entertainment company WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). Her ring name during her career as a wrestler – which lasted over a decade – was Rosa Mendes. During her time in the franchise she is remembered for managing the former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico from 2011 to 2013. A compelling on-screen presence with high levels of sass, she was also a main cast member on the E! Network’s reality television series Total Divas which gave viewers an inside look into the lives of female WWE wrestlers, from their work within WWE to their personal lives.
Roucka studied business at the university of British Colombia, but left in order to pursue a modelling career, which she did successfully. She won several competitions during this time, including the 2004 Piel Dorada, and also found a great deal of work appearing in commercials. It wasn’t until 2006 that she participated in the annual edition of WWE Diva Search – a talent competition held by WWE. Despite finishing fourth in the show, she was still hired by WWE because of the amount of potential she demonstrated. After a long period of time spent training and preparing for the ring, she progressed through various smaller wrestling circuits owned by the franchise such as Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) before taking to the main stage and appearing on Raw in 2008.
An astounding athletic talent with the beauty to match, it’s no wonder that Roucka has progressed so far in both modelling and wrestling. More recently she has become something of an influencer on social media, with an account that has almost a million followers. Now a mother, she has fully embraced the mom lifestyle and regularly posts about her daily life, much to the delight of her dedicated fanbase.
