His professional journey began when he was selected 11th overall by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2012 NFL Draft. During his tenure with the Chiefs from 2012 to 2016, Poe quickly established himself as a formidable presence on the defensive line, earning Pro Bowl selections in 2013 and 2014.
