As a defensive tackle, he quickly established himself as a dominant force, playing in 16 games and starting all of them in his rookie year. Poe was recognized for his performance by being selected for the Pro Bowl in both 2013 and 2014, and earned Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2013.
Throughout his NFL tenure, Poe played for several teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs (2012-2016), Atlanta Falcons (2017), Carolina Panthers (2018-2019), and Dallas Cowboys (2020), accumulating 128 career games.
