Doris Morgado is a Venezuelan-American actress best known for her roles as Maria in Logan and Daisie in 2 Guns.
Venezuela-born Morgado first got her start in acting following her graduation from college, winning her first on-screen role in 2007 comedy Switch, playing Leona Stevens. Morgado has been an in-demand talent ever since, appearing in dozens of America’s most popular television shows and movies.
Morgado’s television credits include Lucia in Lifetime’s Army Wives, Anita Ramirez in Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, Estela in Jane the Virgin, Sosie Galves in Emmy-nominated S.W.A.T., and Lucia in Colony. Additional television credits include Teen Wolf, For Better or Worse, America’s Most Wanted, The Red Road, Chicago Med, NCIS and Space Command.
Several of her best-known performances saw Morgado gracing the silver screen, playing Maria opposite Hugh Jackman in the Oscar-nominated X-Men title Logan, and Daisie alongside both Denzel Washington and Mark Whalberg in action film 2 Guns. Additional credits include roles in Hall Pass, Callous, Love Thy Enemy, Slice, Think Like a Man, Where is Primer Green, The Internship, The Cure, Black Hats, I Am Wrath, starring John Travolta, and Dwayne Johnson-led Snitch.
Morgado has recently participated in The Myth of Control, a short-form series exploring the lives of a group of friends during a global pandemic. With several television and movie productions in the works, this multi-lingual and unique talent has an exciting career ahead of her.
