Doron Lamb

Doron Emmanuel Calvin Lamb was born on November 6, 1991, in Queens, New York. His early basketball career showcased significant promise, culminating in selections to the McDonald’s All-American and Jordan Brand Classic All-American teams. He attended Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, where he averaged 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists during his senior season, establishing himself as a top-ranked shooting guard.

Lamb committed to the University of Kentucky for his collegiate play. During his freshman year (2010-2011), he contributed to the Wildcats reaching the NCAA Final Four. In his sophomore year (2011-2012), he played a crucial role in Kentucky’s record-setting 38–2 season, which led to winning the 2012 NCAA Championship. He scored a game-high 22 points in the national championship game against Kansas, highlighting his consistent three-point shooting, which was over 46% during both college seasons.

Following his successful college career, Lamb declared for the 2012 NBA Draft and was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 42nd overall pick in the second round. His NBA career included stints with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Orlando Magic, where he played for two seasons before continuing his professional career internationally.
